New Home in Wimberley

This is one of our 1,800 sq ft Texas Hill Country style home with customization. It has an open kitchen/living room concept, with four bedrooms and two baths, making it ideal to convert one bedroom into a home office.

We made a number of customizations for this home including:

Used a white rock mix (called “Texas Chopped”) on the exterior instead of solid white rock
Changed the master bathroom to eliminate the tub & put a larger 2 head shower instead. We put the larger shower where the tub was & a linen closet where the original shower was located
Changed the windows in the master bedroom – eliminated the lower 2×3 windows on one wall to create more privacy from the neighboring home & added the narrow windows up high to still let in sunlight
Changed the great room ceiling – made it an elevated ceiling with wooden beams instead of a double step up ceiling
Added a large built-in bookcase in the great room
Used wood flooring throughout the main living areas of the home instead of tile
Added a flat wooden patio deck in the back to extend the outdoor living area
